Fishing Cody/Yellowstone Country

Fishing Cody / Yellowstone Country

Area river fishing waters include the North & South Forks of the Shoshone River, Wyoming’s only designated “Wild & Scenic River” the Clark’s Fork, and the Greybull and Wood Rivers outside of Meeteetse, Wyoming.

Lake fishing abounds, and the K3 Guest Ranch is located just a few short minutes from the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, Cody’s closest area lake. The Beartooth Wilderness area, just north of Cody Country is dotted with hundreds of clear mountain lakes containing trout and arctic grayling.

Of course Yellowstone National Park is famous for its fishing waters, both in its rushing rivers and on Lake Yellowstone.

Using K3 Guest Ranch as a “home base” provides anglers easy access to all of the area’s fishing waters, and Head Wrangler Jerry Kinkade can assist with trip planning and recommend area guide services.
