~ The Garden Patio ~

Located directly out of the dining room and kitchen doors of the Lodge, the BBQ Patio is used each morning to serve a hearty western breakfast of bacon, eggs, pancakes, and sheepherder spuds, or perhaps scrambled eggs, bacon, and french toast, cooked over an outdoor grill on a wood fire. Nothing like wood smoke, a hearty breakfast and coffee to get your day off to a great start! (Weather permitting, of course.).
The BBQ Patio provides a panoramic view of the ranch’s hay fields, the beautiful K3 flower gardens, and the entire Southfork Valley.
~ Tipi Patio ~
The K3 Guest Ranch Tipi Patio is as unique as the rest of the ranch. Set atop a stone semi-circle and resting on it’s huge poles the tipi covers one of K3′s outdoor patios. The patio features a large outdoor fireplace, comfortable wicker furniture and one of the best views on the ranch. Surrounded by flower gardens and facing Carter Mountain to the east the Tipi Patio is a favorite guest spot for relaxing and wildlife viewing every evening.
~ K3 Flower Gardens ~
The K3 Guest Ranch Bed & Breakfast gardens have been chosen as an example of excellent “hardscape” design. Water is at a premium here in cowboy country, so gardens are planted with colorful annuals and perennials native to this region or other hot and dry areas of the world. When you visit, you may see Prairie Coneflower, Black-Eyed Susans, Poppies, Artemisias, Iris or other new and familiar favorites. Guests find comfortable patio furniture scattered throughout the patios and gardens, providing perfect relaxation spots. The lush green lawns surrounding the lodge are a perfect place for strolling barefoot, or playing a game of horseshoes.
~ Meditation Hill ~

The breathtaking views from the top of Meditation Hill are just one more reason to choose K3 Guest Ranch Bed & Breakfast as your stopping off point when visiting Cody, Wyoming. The red clay buttes of Meditation Hill sit strikingly alongside the green meadows of the ranch, and beside Sulphur Creek as it winds it’s way through the fields. Follow the winding path to the top of the hill and you’ll find the Indian Meditation Chair. Sit, relax, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
